Yes. If you buy two necklace and earrings sets, the more expensive set of the two will be sold to you at half price.

Within the USA

All shipping and handling charges are free within the continental USA.

Outside of the continental USA

The shipping and handling charges outside of the USA will be added to the cost of the jewelry.

Insurance charges abroad as well as a more rapid delivery will be additional, depending on the customer’s wishes.

All jewelry purchases will be securely packaged to prevent any damage during shipping. If the jewelry is damaged during shipping, a full refund will be provided upon the return of the damaged merchandise.

All jewelry will be securely packaged in a tarnish-prevention zip loc bag to prevent the silver from tarnishing over time.  A small tarnish-removing cloth will be sent with your jewelry.

Most jewelry can be dipped into a jar of “jewelry cleaner”.  The exceptions to this are as follows:

Do not dip pearls, glossy shells or coral into jewelry cleaner.  The cleaning solution will remove the sheen from these natural components.  All Adolphina jewelry can be washed with hand soap and cold water.  Dry carefully and polish your jewelry, rubbing all sides with a small towel.

If your jewelry contains shells or pearls adjacent to sterling silver components or wire, use the enclosed polishing cloth to remove any tarnish from the sterling silver that might appear over time.  Then wash and dry the entire piece of jewelry thoroughly, polishing with a cloth as you dry the beads, etc.

How do I keep from breaking my jewelry that contains glass beads?

Most beads are very sturdy and thick.  They will not easily break.  Some larger glass components, such as large flat glass beads or pendants, could break if you set them down hard on a piece of furniture.  Be gentle and the jewelry will last for decades and decades. As with other Adolphina jewelry, wash glass necklaces and earrings with hand soap and cold water.  Polish with a dry cloth to really bring out the sparkle.

All jewelry is one of a kind.  Upon request, we could try to duplicate a set that you purchased but that would depend on whether we have those particular beads and components in stock.  Some beads and pendants are irreplaceable.

Yes. You can request a certain length that you would prefer. Shortening a necklace is easy. It simply has to be restrung, leaving out however many beads to meet the shorter length requirements.

Adding length is more difficult as we may not have the exact beads in stock and may not be able to find them anywhere. Often there can be a different solution, one possibility being adding silver beads on both sides of the clasp.

We will always do our best to satisfy the customer. There is no charge to restring a necklace. There would be an additional charge for any new beads added to the necklace but that would be the only extra cost.

There are a few ways to flatten your print. Probably the best way is to lay it face down on a clean and dry flat surface and put weight on it, such as books or other heavy items. Leave it that way for a few days. Another solution is to place it face down on a clean, dry flat surface and put a thin cloth such as a pillowcase over it. Set your iron on dry heat (no spray) and iron it on the back side until it is flat. A third and perhaps easiest solution is to take it to a frame shop where you will have it framed. The shop will flatten it for you.

Yes, we can design jewelry for the entire wedding party, including mothers. It can be as simple as a pair of earrings for the bride, or it could include a necklace and earrings set for each bridesmaid as well. The jewelry for the bridesmaids could be similar but not identical, considering the likes and dislikes of the people involved. The pricing would be based on the stones included in the jewelry. An overall 10% discount would be given on an order of two or more necklace and earrings sets. Even though we might be far away geographically, with cell phone photos, the process is as easy as revising until everyone is happy. Samples of dress fabric might be required to accurately match the desired color. There would be no obligation to purchase anything that you are not totally satisfied with.
The cost of Adolphina jewelry is influenced by the total cost of each component in a necklace and earring set. All metal is going to be sterling silver. Silver has vastly increased in value. The cost of the beads themselves varies by quality of the stone and how carefully it was cut. The cost of everything has increased from when we started designing jewelry in 2008. There are some great prices on some of our earlier sets because the beads were bought some time ago and we did not raise our prices on these sets.
