Adolphina is proud to feature original imported Italian Venetian glass beads in this design. These beads come from the studios of Alexander & Lee, which have been importing beads since 1976.
The wine-colored beads, including the long bar used as a pendant, all have a luminescent glow coming from inside the glass. Interspersed as accents to this beautiful glass are spring green, and small plum-colored small round glass beads. Turquoise freshwater pearls give this necklace a daring multicolor effect.
Freshwater pearls are said to bring harmony and humility. They are considered a symbol of innocence and purity. Some believe that freshwater pearls facilitate a deeper connection to one’s inner self and spirituality.
