Christmas Tree Pendant With Candycane-Striped Earrings

The Christmas tree pendant is carefully formed glass with multiple colors on the ends of its branches. This entire necklace and earrings set is made from glass beads except for two red and green cloisonne’ round beads. Cloisonne’ is an ancient technique that originally came from Egypt. It is a form of enameling where colored-glass paste is placed within enclosures created from copper or bronze wires. These wires are hammered or bent into a desired pattern. It resembles the same idea as stained glass. In modern times Chinese artists have perfected the technique.
