Absolutely glorious crystal chunks of citrine in their natural state give this set the ‘showstopper’ status it deserves. This set is one that will stand out at any event. Small clusters of natural citrine crystal are carefully positioned between the large crystalline citrine pieces, which causes the necklace to sparkle in the light. Delicately used as spacers between the pieces of citrine, tiny pale tangerine-colored freshwater pearls add to the glimmer. The rest of the necklace involves the use of large rectangular and round copper-colored freshwater pearls and taupe glass discs which are covered with tiny copper-colored bumps of glass. Citrine was very popular with movie stars during WWII in the 30’s.
