Nine Multicolored Turquoise Discs

Nine impressively large discs of genuine turquoise are marbled with multiple shades of blue-green, green and brown. These elegant discs are separated by small carefully shaped blue-green turquoise discs, which continue on both sides to complete the necklace. The entire necklace is made of genuine turquoise.

Turquoise is quite well known for its use in Native American jewelry and art. The Navajo, Apache, Hopi and Pueblo tribes believed that turquoise offered protection and was itself a symbol of heavenly purity. They believed that turquoise brought courage and good luck.
