Originally a watercolor painting, I was inspired by Second Beach on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The painting captures the magical winter light of the Pacific Northwest. The reflections on the shiny beach are a peaceful contrast to the rolling surf beyond.
As for so many people, I, too, find that the ocean is my cathedral. My wish is that this image would take you to a quiet and peaceful place in your heart and to know that life is good – not always easy, but good.
